Dr. Taylor Reno studied acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other lineages of East Asian medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco. She completed over 3,000 hours of clinical and didactic coursework over four years, working with patients at the ACTCM Community Clinic, as well as externships at Glide and the Women’s Resource Center, where she provided free auricular and community-style acupuncture. In her last semester, Taylor worked in an integrative setting, interning at the California Pacific Medical Center in its inpatient rehabilitation unit, assisting post-stroke patients and those with other neurological conditions. Taylor’s intention is for others to feel safe, seen, and supported in their bodies. She believes that individuals are the experts on their own experiences. She enjoys working with clients who spend too much time in their heads, hold a lot of tension in their bodies, and wish to feel more at home within themselves. In her free time, Taylor can be found going on long, brisk urban hikes, at a local coffee shop drinking more coffee than any acupuncturist would ever recommend, practicing yoga, and trying to spend less time staring at her phone and more time enjoying the beautiful, sometimes gritty city.
